The Valley Creek College Honors Program exists for exceptional year 3 and year 4 students who desire to be challenged in their whole-person development as they lead to create the future with God. Honors Program students serve as VC College Ambassadors who build community and culture through events such as Preview Day, local college fairs, and Valley Creek College retreats.
The Honors Program students are invited to additional challenges in the areas of learning, becoming, connecting, leading, and loving. This includes things like assigned readings, leadership training, Scripture memorization, hosting student-led chapels, and relational skills challenges. It also includes special invitations to an Honors Program retreat, dinner with the Valley Creek College President and Valley Creek Lead Pastor, and opportunities to participate in Valley Creek Church leadership meetings. Honors Program students will also receive recognition at graduation as well as honors distinction on their diploma.
Honors Program students must meet specific qualifications including a cumulative 3.5 GPA from SEU as well as upholding the culture and values of VC College. Students are selected through an application process that includes an in-person interview.
